Personal growth is essential for meaningful contribution to the company's business, results in increased personal performance - and therefore rewards - and is personally fulfilling for its own sake.
Abudawood follows a philosophy of learning through coaching, and invests a significant amount of time, money and effort in ensuring that all employees are coached capably and adequately. Managers and subordinates are jointly responsible for the growth of subordinates’ performance levels. Each employee is primarily responsible for leading his or her development needs and plans; the employee's manager is primarily responsible for providing the time, effort and resources to fulfill those plans. In most cases, coaching involves either a formal or semi-formal series of regular exercises where the manager coaches employees in classroom-based workshops and/or the real workplace. Employees are also encouraged and supported in coaching each other as peers and/or in coaching themselves through self-study materials or self-paced programs and events.
This philosophy is manifested and supported through a career-long program available to all employees, called The Abudawood Way. Learn more about how we learn, grow and work at Abudawood here.
